I'm guessing this is slightly the wrong URL, in that it will be giving:

sftp://host/path/to/repo/.bzr/repository/lock

rather than giving

sftp://host/path/to/repo

However, it should still work, and could be better than what we have. 
(I'm also concerned about bzr+ssh:// urls, which tend to report their 
URL as 'chroot-123234:///')
