Features to track refactoring.

Hi all,

Are there any features to track code refactoring? For example, for the
following situation:
Upon refactoring Jane moved a set of functions to a separate module in
a new file. After some time Dimitri revises correctness of a bug fix
in one of the functions, which was done prior to refactoring... (As I
understand, he will have first to follow the changes in the new file,
then figure out the name of the previous file /if it was not in the
log comment/)
