[MERGE] 'make dist' targets cleanup after themselves

While going through the steps for preparing a release, one step is to
run 'make dist'. Martin has done good work at making that a nice way to
generate all the files that you need for a release.

This patch just changes it so that the directory in /tmp has a name
describing the operation being done. And then when the process is
actually completed it cleans up after itself. (I'm not a big fan of
leaving temp directories around.)

If something fails, it won't cleanup, but I feel that is fine, since it
allows inspection of what went wrong.

This isn't critical for any release, I just thought it would be nice.

Also, for the document about releasing:
http://doc.bazaar-vcs.org/bzr.dev/developers/releasing.html

step 4 of:
http://doc.bazaar-vcs.org/bzr.dev/developers/releasing.html#publishing-the-release

Is to update the 'update-bzr-docs' script. However that script is
controlled solely by Martin. He's already done it for bzr-1.5, but it
isn't something that just anyone can do.

So far, I'm fairly stuck on PQM still, but I'll send another message for
that.

John
