[MERGE] * New ``versionedfile.KeyMapper`` interface

This abstracts out the various escaping/path choosing logic from the
Store classes. By abstracting it out it can be used cleanly in the
upcoming VersionedFiles api, without requiring a dependency on
Repository or Store.
