I don't share your optimism.
I don't read your email in details yet, so I just attach to this mail
simple diff with my only eol-related changes. You can use it freely.
This diff created against bzr.dev revno.3293.
Any references to versioned properties was removed, you can grep for
lines
# XXX LINE ENDINGS SUPPORT
To see where I have changed code relative to bzr.dev.
Every place when I need actual value of eol I replaced with statement
eol = None
You can look at this diff and decide is it also bad idea or not.
As you could see the patch is not very big actually. There is nothing
too complex.
It's just prove the fact that nobody interested in writing such code.
First time I'm asking about line-endings support in October 2005.
Nice, is it not?
I will return to this topic later, maybe on weekends.
But I will not promise anything.
But I should say that I'm still not interested in writing new WT/repo format.
