   For people without PQM submit rights, it usually happens minutes after
   their second approve vote.  Your patch does not have patch hasn't had
   two approval votes, so it is still at "semi-approved" status.

Thank you for the clarification.

What should be the strategy for us, waiting for an eventual
merging, to keep on hacking ? Should I branch against trunk and
hack there or should I keep on hacking in my current branch (with
my patch applied) ? In short, if I continue with my current
branch, what will happen when my patch will be applied (if it
happens) ?
