confused about bundles and "related directories"

Ahh, right!  That does seem to work much better, thanks!

So I was correct in editing .bzr/branch/branch.conf to set this value?

Does anyone think it is worth changing

explicit about this, given it recommends the directory layout I was using?
I think it could either say "the bundle will include a target_branch
directive which points at your local directory; that's OK - we can still
handle the bundle" or "to make your bundle refer to the public branch in the
target_branch directive, you must edit .bzr/branch/branch.conf etc."?  I'd
be happy to provide a patch if someone could tell me which of instructions
are preferred.
