Please include merge directives as attachments, not inline.  Attachments
are easier for people to open in external tools, and look better in
Bundle Buggy.

Please do not make unnecessary changes.  Every change you make can cause
conflicts for other people (or yourself), so avoiding unnecessary
changes makes you a good neighbour.

Spurious changes also make it harder to see what you've actually
changed, so they may review harder.  Sure, trim trailing whitespace if
it's part of the code you're working on, but don't go out of your way.
