This is just a patch which avoids one of the probes for the master
branch during 'bzr update'.
I only noticed it because the connectivity here at pycon is pretty hit
and miss, so I did a dump of the network traffic and saw lots of
repeated probes.
We still have 2 probes, but at least both of them are being used. It
would be nicer if we could grab it 1 time and lock it for reading, so
that anything we do would be cached, but at least for Branch6 calling
.last_revision() should be rather cheap.
