Baz and backup

Hi all,

If I do most of my development on a laptop, with all my bzr branches
under a 'bzr' directory in $HOME, what is the best way of backing up
all the bzr directories to my desktop machine?

Rsync is not really an option because I want to avoid anything which
isn't actually maintained by bzr. I want to avoid backing up executables,
objects, test files etc.

I also want to have new branches to be added to what gets backed up 
as close to automatically as possible.

Solutions?
