line endings

This issue has been bought up many times on this list. I think there is
a good understanding of what needs to be done it's just a problem of
someone having enough time/motivation to implement it. The line ending
style needs to be a property of the file so that files with the same
extension can have different line ending styles. Regexs could be used to
define a default when the files are added though.. I think the proposed
solution requires per file properties to be implemented first.
I hope someone implements this soon. I personnally am too busy and not
familiar enough with the code base to do this. This really is a major
feature that anyone who does cross-platform development in a team badly
needs. Seeing as Bazaar is cross-platform (and touted as such) it makes
it even more important than for other VCSs IMHO.

| Some people think different.

| Perhaps having a repository-level option for how line endings are
treated for filenames matching a particular regex would be a good way to go?
