There is bug 92097 but it is uninformative; there is another detailed
bug but it is private :(. I can add a reference to bug 92097 if it
matters.

'bleeding edge' is inconsistent with redirecting programmatic tools from
the stable site to edge (and in fact, it is the redirection that is
breaking). bug 92097 was filed in march 2007. Nearly 1 year :(.
