uninstall/upgrade?

a) Bazaar itself installs fairly cleanly and only puts things into 2
directories. /usr/bin/bzr, and /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/bzrlib

I realize other things may stick things in more places.

b) People use package managers like "apt/deb" or "yum/rpm" which track exactly
what files were installed and what should be removed.


As you say, "make install" has never really had a "make uninstall", and neither
does python setup.py install.
