Hello,
I subscribed casually this list and Alexander helped me solving an issue
, that resulted in a common "case-sensitive" bug of Windows version.
I would like to expose my point of view as Windows developer and bazaar
*user*. Maybe I'm not the one who can speak about that, but I'm just a
user who tryed to use bazaar thanks to it's great functionality!
- MOST IMPORTANT: in any place in the bazaar web site I found about
problems using Windows. And the problems bazaar has with windows are
SERIOUS problems, stoppers. Personally, I don't want to use bazaar until
it has good Windows support, because I just need a working environment
without "workarounds".
You should at least point out (not in the FAQ, please, but in one of the
presentation pages) that Bazaar has serious problems with CIF filesystems.
- I agree with Alexander that supporting an OS doesn't mean getting it
compiled with an installer. It means that you get the same functionality
of any other platform.
- The user that does some tests comparing it with subversion, or others,
sees that Bazaar fails where other works. ( = user lost)
Just my two cents ,
Good Bye

BTW, I tryed to switch to Subversion in the meantime, but I found that
bazaar is waaaay user friendly and usable! So I'll keep waiting...
