Trac beats ReST in the term of speed. Oh! Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.
I running my internal Trac instance on somewhat old hardware (<1GHz)
and wiki pages generated blazingly fast, while ReST-ones are sloooooooow.
Only one advantage of ReST is more rich features set. But sometimes
I can drop complex ReST tables in the name of speed.
And I very easily set-up and use GraphvizMacro plugin
that allows me draw dot graphs on wiki pages.

Maybe with some sort of caching for generating html output from ReST
it will be very fast (at least for second and so on time), but
ot of box it's deadly slow.
