Really? Is the problem with the concept of "ask" or the concept of "merge"?

bzr send is by no means integral to the concept. The "asking" may be
done in person, by phone, email, on irc, any medium of communication.
The merging may be done from a "merge directive", but it is also
commonly done from a branch.
So I feel like this kind of detail would be misleading.
