Python interpreter shows its version info with dots between all parts:
e.g. 2.4.4.final.0, 2.5.1.final.0
But Bazaar joins together word and digits:
0.91.0candidate2, 0.92.0dev0
The latter is complicate machine parsing of version info.
I'd like to change this part to use dots as in Python,
e.g. 0.91.0.candidate.2, 0.92.0.dev.0
Is there exists some strong point not to do so?
For me (as human) dots is not big deal, but maybe
I missed something.
This change can help my tiny utility bzr-config.
The change is really small, can we have it in 0.91 final?
