On Tue, Jul 31, 2007 at 03:01:11PM -0400 I heard the voice of
Martin Pool, and lo! it spake thus:
>
> [...] it's not clear from the pull help message what -v is meant to
> do: it just says that it shows more information. If it's going to
> show all the merged revisions, we should say that.

Related to this is an item that's been floating on my UIIssues page
for a while:

# missing uses --reverse to show the log messages in "forward" order,
while log uses --forward to mean the same thing.

    * In the same vein, other commands can do log-ish output (ex: pull
-v), but don't necessarily give you all the output
options/capabilities that log does. It Would Be Nice If(tm)
somehow that could be generalized so that you could use those
options anywhere that does something log-ish.

I know I tend to like my 'flog' (log --forward --short) alias for
glancing over logs, and that's minor annoying manual-ism on my bzr.dev
pull's. I have to remember to run a 'revno' before the pull so I know
where to start, then do a quick subtraction in my head with the revno
pull shows, to `bzr flog -r-7..` or whatever to double-check what I've
got.
