FeatureFreeze update

OK, we made a pretty good dent in the patch Q today but it still has
some way to go. In particular, we didn't get some things reviewed I was
after (e.g. Aaron's stuff), while other things got added instead.

Please proceed to review and merge things without asking permission for
the next 12-15 hours or so. I'll review where we're up to then and send
out an update to the list.
