We need the following analysis documents written. I can take a stab but
I wasn't in those particular split out sessions.

cbranch (**)

(*) merge exists but is very bare bones today. It doesn't for instance
talk about locality of reference issues (we need three full texts - it
may often be cheaper to ask for two at the same time (base and other)
than to ask for two serially.
