Thanks for the offer, but I wasn't suggesting that there would be a
serious problem incorporating your changes into mine - just that this
is additional work that has to be done, either by me or the core who
merges my patches. This wouldn't be necessary had my changes been
reviewed and merged in a more timely fashion.
That was just an example to illustrate my point that someone needs to
beat the cores with a stick occasionally to get them to catch up on
reviewing, and the RM is the most appropriate person for the job. He
can determine relative priorities and should have a good idea who is
available and would be best suited to review what.
