[MERGE] [BUG #3659] support bzr log --limit

This patch adds support for bzr log --limit.

Again, this bundle is branched off my LogFormatter patch, and again that
turned out to be unnecessary. You should be able to cherry pick the
revision from my branch on launchpad if that is a problem.
