How about a command so you can see the effective config settings after
the cascade?
get-config, show-config, or maybe making the sets and gets
sub-commands of a config command?

And while we're on the subject of cascading config, the ConfiguringBzr
page in the wiki says:

Except as noted, all options can be stored in any of these files.
    The order of preference is:

       1. branch.conf
       2. locations.conf
       3. bazaar.conf

Aaron (I think you wrote that bit), what do you mean by preference?
I understand the order of decreasing precedence to be:
1. locations.conf
2. branch.conf
3. bazaar.conf

By "preference" do you mean precedence or something else?
Either way I find the wiki page confusing.

Cheers,
Kent.
