Converting version history from git to bzr

Hello all,

Can anyone advise on methods for converting from a git version history
to a bzr branch?

I've already tried using tailor but this appears to have some severe
bugs at present.  I'm trying to sort this out in communication with the
tailor people but for now one of the key bugs still remains open:

It's not the only such bug in the git --> bzr conversion.

I believe Robert Collins is working on such a project .... ?
