Big size is a problem for me.
But probably it's time to make normal installer for Olive.

I assume you want to have Olive GUI on Windows?
Or only gui-plugins?
The only thing about GTK-based programs/plugins:
usually this programs don't bundle GTK+ libraries,
and user need to install it himself. This is how
GIMP, GAIM installers works. So I also try don't
include GTK+ libraries (only PyGTK) and thus
reduce installer size.

I'm personally happy with FAR console file manager.
And FAR also have concept of plugins, so one day
I would wrote plugin for FAR to provide integration
between FAR and bzr.
But I understand not all people like console user interface
in the style of old-fashion dos era Norton Commander.
