[MERGE] Improvements to gstatus

Hi,

Looking for a +1 on the following changes:

 * Move status to top-level
 * Abandon use of glade in status
 * Allow double-clicking on entries in status to view the diff in the
working tree
 * Add 'gstatus' command
 * Couple of other minor cleanups
