I don't understand your point.

For novice we have installer with standalone bzr.exe that contains paramiko liibrary inside.
So short way for novice is download installer and the install them.
And after this user has bzr ready to work with sftp.

Or...

Download and install python interpreter, pywin32 package, and putty.
And John Meinel says that anyway we need paramiko for work,
i.e. need to install paramiko and pycrypto.

Something wrong in this calculation.

I'm not against your patch if it will works, I'm just want to understand
some details.
