On Tue, Aug 22, 2006 at 11:48:20AM -0500 I heard the voice of
John Arbash Meinel, and lo! it spake thus:

BSD license doesn't require everything (or anything) else to be BSD
licensed. It's the GPL that (theoretically) prevents itself from
being linked into BSD licensed code. It's my understanding that the
objection is based on the GPL's Additional Restrictions clause, which
breaks the 3- and 4-clause BSD license's requirements. I'm not sure I
buy the idea that it also conflicts with a 2-clause, though.
