Hi,
I'm proud to announce the availability of Olive 0.1. Google Summer of
Code 2006 came to an end today, so I thought the best thing would be
to release the current code, so people can try it, and report anything
they want.
The end of the GSoC program doesn't mean that I'll stop the
development. I still have many ideas about how to go on with the
development. But from now on, any help is appreciated, patches from
anyone can get into the code.
In the following weeks I plan to backport a lot of code to the bzr-gtk
product (the main difference will be the new dialogs designed with
glade).
The Olive project has been self-hosting for several weeks now. I hope
all of you will like the look'n'feel of the GUI. If you have any
concerns (HIG-incompatibility or anything else), please report a
wishlist bug.
I've decided to host the Olive homepage on the Bazaar site:
http://bazaar-vcs.org/Olive
There you can find install instructions for the Windows platform, too
(yes, Olive works on Win32, just as Bazaar does).
