I'll drop in 2c as I had an integration branch of bzrk at one stage:

I didn't know about bzr-gtk (well I had a vague idea that it existed, it's
the SoC project, right?) and I certainly wasn't aware that it forked from
bzrk or gannotate or both.

So, fwiw, I haven't joined forces with anyone :)  I'm still using my old
bzrk branch which I'm sure is missing a lot of fixin's from others.

+1 on bzrtools-like releases.
