Well, I believe he is talking about caching the 'kernel_like_tree' on
disk, so that you can do a simple recursive copy, rather than recreating
it from scratch each time.

We talked about it on IRC. I do think we should take some steps to make
the 'support' steps of benchmarks faster. Since for a lot of tests there
can be 20s of setup time for a 2s test.
