I think it is nice and clean. Seems reasonably easy to navigate. I have
a small niggle that it is too 'candy-like'. Overall, I think it is very
good. I have some feedback, but it doesn't mean I'm right :)
I really like the main links in the upper right, since it gets you to
where you want to go quickly. I do think that the Download page should
probably have a shortcut link to the latest bzr release. Rather than a
lot of text telling you about the page you *really* want to go to. But
that doesn't have anything to do with the site redesign.
The yellow on white background on the main page doesn't show up very well.
Having the links be grey when they are unvisited, and blue after they
have been visited is a little uncommon. I know when I saw it, I thought
grey was for links I had already been to.
We still need to get some flashy screenshots on the main page.
On pages with tty content (like here:
http://bazaar-vcs.org/BzrSettingEmail)
You have blue boxes with a border around them. Which looks good, but the
border is a weird size. In Firefox, sometimes it has a double thick line
around one or two sides, and it is kind of random which side gets it.
I can't really tell what the problem is, though. As near as I can tell,
you have the border set to 1pt, which should be correct. And in playing
with WebDeveloper I wasn't able to set them to look correctly. (Other
than putting them up to 2pt, but then they always are big)
I'm attaching a screenshot to show you what I mean. It could just be a
firefox rendering bug. Or something weird with my machine.
