[RFC] status --all ?

It's analogous to 'svn status --all'.  I have to admit that I also
rarely use it and it did seem to make the code a bit hairy.  So if
removing it makes things easier for you, and if all the information is
available elsewhere, then it's OK with me to remove it.

However I do think status ought to tell you about unknowns, so there
will still be some complication left there.
