Perhaps one of these?

    --debris
    --droppings
    --leavings
    --litter
    --oddments

I think "droppings" is a nice description of these bzr-created files,
but perhaps --debris would be more universal?

Sure -- the calling function can check if an item is an 'I', and if so,
it can reclassify any matching names as 'D' (or whatever letter we end
up with).
