Looking for docs on bzr & http proxy

Hey folks,

I expect this is somewhere in the docs and I just
have missed it.  One of our developers has reported
having problems with proxies and 'bzr {merge,pull}'.
Here's the information he sent me.

Just some feedback, in case someone asks... It does not work
well with proxies. I get long stalls using, tested two
independent proxies. For one proxy, the official t-online
(German Telekom IP provider), I consistenly get:

$ bzr branch http://www.samba.org/~jerry/bzr/SAMBA_4_0.bzr
bzr: ERROR: urllib2.HTTPError: HTTP Error 416: Requested
     range not satisfiable
  at /usr/lib/python2.4/urllib2.py line 480
  in http_error_default

With our internal proxy bzr stalls for _REALLY_ long times,
neither CPU on either side, nor network traffic around.=20
Eventually I get lots of (about 10) abandoned TCP
connections in 'netstat -nt', with a full TCP buffer size in
"my" recvq. bzr seems not to have noticed that something has
arrived.
