I don't know if you've ever used lftp, but it does exactly that. If I do lftp
fish://crustytoothpaste.ath.cx/ , lftp does no prompting, which is very useful
for quick logins. But if I use fish://bmc@crustytoothpaste.ath.cx/ instead, it
prompts me, even if I already have ssh-agent running. I usually just hit enter
and it logs me in with ssh-agent.
