converting cvs to bzr branches

Now I tried all mentioned options in this post: cvs2baz, which failed
because of some obscure exception, cvs2svn, which failed because I don't
have access to the repository, and now tailor as well, which fails
because of another obscure exception, this time a UnicodeDecodeError
exception. I'm somewhat dissapointed :(
