Read knit index?

Agreed. I'm not sure that 'Reading Knit Index' needs a progress bar. I'm
guessing the progress bar is debounced, and we just happen to exceed the
minimum time by some small amount.

Line 982 of knit.py is where the progress bar exists. Robert is the one
who introduced it so we should probably check with him first.
