pre-commit hooks and $Id$ banners?

Really, to do it properly[0] it requires a pre-commit hook to collapse
any expanded keywords, and a checkout/update hook to expand them.


[0] Where "properly" translates freely to "the way I want it, and will
    throw tantrums until I get", naturally.
