knit version of bzr.dev for your testing pleasure

Which means that you have to download all of the different versions? I
don't know what is available by rsync versus available by http, but
looking at http://bazaar-vcs.org/bzr/, I see a whole lot of branches,
not least of which is 'bzr.dev' which is a complete standalone branch.

I would probably recommend doing this as:

http://bazaar-vcs.org/bzr-knit-repo/bzr.dev/

Or something along those lines. You can keep /bzr as a knit repository,
and in the future we probably would only use that. But in the short
term, it doesn't make much sense to require downloading *everything*
just because we want to rsync one branch.
