Sorry, Robert and I were busy on a launchpad.net sprint when you wrote.

My intention with the review process I posted a while ago was that
people should post diffs and give others a chance to review and comment
on changes.  It doesn't mean you have to be blocked waiting for reviews
if you don't get them in a couple of days -- if you feel confident then
by all means just merge.  On the other hand if you feel something should
be reviewed then pings are welcome.

I'll reply separately now to at least the conflict-tracking change.
