* -p1 diffs need a final decision on what the default should be, and
  an arg added to diff to go the other way (really, I'd argue it
  should have args BOTH ways, whichever the default is; see my
  previous statements about the usability plus of "--prefix=orig,mod"
  and similar, as well as the semi-standard "all args should be
  opposable").
