Is it necessary to carry the data around? Benchmarks ran on different
machines are not comparable anyway. So what about simply giving it a
branch as argument. It would start by branching that to temporary
directory and then doing other operations on that. A set of branches
considered part of 'standard' benchmark could be linked on the wiki.
