Well, there's always plenty of time later to implement automatic
determination of the prefix. It shouldn't hurt to force users to
specify it for any non-bzr branches for now.

Ah, ok. I remember lifeless was also using it for config-manager, so I
guess that's a safe choice. It also looks right somehow - other
characters 'look odd', though I admit that's not really a valid
technical argument :-)

Ah, right - I think I misunderstood what you meant there.
I'm planning to implement these changes in the next couple of days.
