One nice feature with bzr is the ability to write plug-ins, and override
or extend its commands. I'm pretty sure it is much easier and more
powerful than writing Bash or Python wrapper scripts, since you're in
the heart of the software.
The fact that the UI is much easier and "natural" (when you're a long
user of revision control software) is also an argument to me. I found in
git those long commands I'm fed up with in tla. Maybe cogito fixes
this... I'll check out as soon as I find their website!
But bzr is still young. No offence but git has more experience and
probably more debugging time.
My advice to you is writing down your needs in the rows of a table, two
other columns for git and bzr, and put a mark between 1 and 5 for how
much each one meet your requirement. But ponderating the importance of
each need may also be necessary. Make the calculation and you get the
winner, thanks to this unmatched scientific method!
