That pre-supposes you know exactly what you're looking for ... I still
have to reach for the documentation every *damned* time I use subversion
because it manages to find some new character to throw at me, or move it
across one column to mean something magically different.

Sure it is, it's exactly as parseable as the C/M/G one ... because you
just look for the particular words. You just make sure you stick
LC_MESSAGES=C before you parse, which is good practice when driving
software anyway.
