I'd like to update this page (you probably mean this page:
http://bazaar.canonical.com/Bzr/OnWindows). But at this moment bzr have
bunch of small and big windows-related bugs, and in setup process also.
At now I'm waiting for my win-related patches will be merged into
mainline, because there is some issue in setup.py also. My last patch
for setup.py has been merged little incorrect, so expected batch
creation is not working on win32. At all.
At now (release 0.1.1) the big windows problem is that merge command not
working properly. I'm found what the bug is and send patch, but Aaron
said that he's rework merge algorithm and buggy code now is obsolete.
I'm slightly tired create over and over again for each new release the
same bunch of win-related patches. I think I should wait until it
finally merged in.
BTW, with each release in bzr code appears new and new windows-related
incompatibilities. Most of them in selftest code, part in library code.
Don't think that I'm snivel about this, but it slightly discourage. I
understand that at this development stage OS-compatibility is not main
goal, but may be is worth to create short reference for developers about
known OS-incompatibilities for reasons of future?
Alexander.
