Good point.

In other RCSes, changesets are filesystem objects (files or, in Arch's
case, directories) that represent the differences between X and Y with
more fidelity than patch.  They don't necessarily imply that X is the
parent of Y.

Terminology like 'compressed revision' or 'revision file' might make the
most sense, because when we say 'changeset' we then have to re-educate
people about what they do.
