Actually, the command was replaced. The old revert, now merge-revert,
did let you specify a revision, but didn't let you specify individual files.
So

Actually, it saves backup copies of the files, using a ~ extension.
E.g. diff.py is backed up as diff.py~
I would have already modified merge-revert to handle individual files,
but I didn't want to lose the backup functionality.
