The design docs are only notes, not gospel.  The main point there is
that we should remember the default pull location; the name is less
important.  The implication that it's the main parent is probably
misleading.

Perhaps 'default-pull' or 'pull-location'?

I think there's some benefit in (following darcs) remembering all the
pull locations that have been used in the past, for some kind of
auto-completion.  (But since we don't do this yet, there's less need to
record it.)
